Speaker 1: Today we're going to taking a look at the Performance Tool Soldering Accessory Kit. This has 17 pieces in total. This is going to be a really nice addition to your existing soldering iron. You will have to purchase that separately. But it's going to have all the accessories you need to help with your soldering project.We're going to have the nice case to hold all of our accessories. We'll also have the soldering iron stand, with that heavy-weighted base.
Attached to that is going to be the coiled holder, which is just attached via this threaded end. And it has a little securing jam nut there, so you just thread that in to the base, or unthread it to store it.It also has the soldering sponge for any excess you can clean off your solder iron, to make sure that you have a good clean connection. And that's there in that base. We're also going to have different attachments for our soldering iron. So you have several different tips.
You'll have a straight and angled flat, and then a straight and angled point or chisel tip.We'll also have 10 feet of solder. You're going to have several different dual-sided tools, including a brush, a pry tool, chisel, angled pick, straight pick, we'll have a pair of straight tweezers and curved tweezers, and you'll also have the solder vacuum.So these are all going to help get that soldering job done really nicely. Whenever you're done, you can store all those things away in the carrying case. We put all our tips into this little bag here, and tuck those away. So that can goes into that pocket there.
All our tools will fit together there. Got slots for each of our tweezers. Our extra solder wire. Take our coiled holder apart, and slide both those things in there as well.So as you can see, everything's going to pack up really nicely. Make it easier to store and keep it organized for next time.
Our carrying case is going to measure about 8-1/2" wide by 6" tall. And it's going to be about 1-3/4" high.And that's going to do it for our look at the Performance Tool Soldering Iron Accessory Kit.

view full answer... - Tip for Making Connection to Cut Wire that Doesn't have Much Wire Left to Connect toWith only 1/4 inch of wire exposed to attach to I would recommend soldering the connection as that is best for tighter wiring clearances like what you have. Which we have soldering kits like the part # PTW2080 which would come with everything to do this, but it might be easiest to take it to someone who can solder since it is a bit of a skill to learn.
